Probably, my favourite kind of protest via art.

photographs 'Star Gazing' and 'Stuff Happens' (R) by German artist Hans Haacke at the exhibition 'Hans Haacke - wirklich - Werke 1959-2006' during a press preview in Berlin November 17, 2006. A riot policeman hits a protester with a baton outside the venue for the G20 summit in Melbourne November 18, 2006. A protest against the summit turned violent when 2,000 chanting protesters marched through the city towards the venue, with a police van destroyed, barricade lines broken, glass bottles, flares, steel rods and upturned barricades being thrown at police in riot gear. The meetings with finance ministers and central bankers from the world's biggest economies, including China, India, the United States, Japan and Britain, will discuss ways to ensure energy and resource security.

1st post.

Ok, here s the first post to just created community PROTEST_WORLD. By setting this community we'll try to collect and post pictures, photos, videos, any kinds of images somehow regarding to protests. Original pics or videos about art of protest are greatly appreciated.
Actually, I was inspired to create this community by big differences in protest in countries. Since I believe that any protest has to have effect, any effect... it can be a big change or bizzare attractions, but it has to be NOTICED, and has to be REACTED! No matter what it causes (except violation, of course), we are supposed make it visible. let's see...
Oh! I should mention that anybody is encouraged to post any kind of protest, people on streets, galleries, paintings, movies, articles, etc...
